JVV Grup at the National Lighting Symposium 2021
For the first time, we attended the National Lighting Symposium, which this year celebrated its 47th edition. From September 29 to October 1, 2021, we had the opportunity to attend some intense days in which we could share with the sector knowledge, needs and trends, both at technological and regulatory level.
A few days later, we can say that the experience has been professionally very enriching and has helped us to know first-hand the needs of the public lighting market. Light quality, connectivity and digital transformation are some of the topics we have been able to delve into.
Our objective? As always, to better understand our customers’ needs in order to offer solutions and services that meet their requirements and live up to their expectations.
Our presentation: flicker and stroboscopic effect in LED luminaires
We would like to thank the organization of the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI) for giving Jordi Verdaguer (CEO of JVV Grup) and Marc Ballbè (Technical Director of Asselum) the opportunity to present the study Flicker and the stroboscopic effect in LED luminaires, carried out jointly.
To draw conclusions, 9 50W DALI drivers from different manufacturers, their dimming strategies and their behavior were analyzed. The objective was to compare the lighting and electronic requirements. In addition, a demonstration of the stroboscopic effect of a LED luminaire with a high level of flicker was made.
From JVV we can say that we have been satisfied both with the result of the presentation and with the experience lived in a conference that served as a meeting place for professionals in the sector.
